My damaged and frizzy hair and tips on how to avoid or how to help you if you have it.

Today I am posting about my damaged, frizzy hair and giving some tips on how to avoid it or if you already have damaged, frizzy hair tips to help you.

I used to have thick, long, smooth and frizz-free hair. One day I had it cut short so that I could see what it was like before my hair got to long for me to be able to cut it.(Because I was always scared that it would look bad and the longer it got the harder it was to make the decision). So I had it cut and although I loved it I wanted to change it slightly. So dyed it a deep, dark red. Then purple. Then red. Then purple.The dye changed my hair alot, maybe my hair is sensitive or I didn't do something I should have done but my hair was completely different. I had thought it would be fine because it was a brand with a really good rating, however, my hair started to frizz, lose shine and dry
out. So tip number 1: Don't dye your excessively and if possible don't dye it at all.

To try and get my old hair back or just to get it better I have to do alot of things. I have to use a hair mask every time I was my hair other wise it is very dull and even frizzier than usual. Tip number 2: Use a hair mask, you can get different ones that target different thing so find one that targets your need and get it. Then after I have washed my hair I apply some argan oil and at the moment I am also using 'Kair' leave in conditioner. Tip number 3: Use oils such as argan oil after you wash your hair and in the morning. You don't need to use much and although it can be expensive it is worth it, however, if you find it on sale I would urge you to buy it as it has definitely helped me. Tip 4: After I have washed my hair I try to only dry it with a cotton t-shirt and I never use a blow-dryer.

In the morning when I am doing my hair I usually apply some argan oil or something similar and then use my heat protector spray as I have found that it made my hair less frizzy through out the day. I also apply a tiny bit of coconut oil as it protects my hair against the sun and chlorine (I go swimming fairly often) but not too much other wise it can look greasy.

Where was I?!

So I haven't posted anything here for quite a long time and here is the reason why.
I haven't had a lot of time and I have had home work to do as well as my Duke Of Edinburgh award to do. And I would like to say that although I have greatly missed writing I won't be writing for probably a few more weeks. This is because I have a science exam and if you knew me then you would know that I want a job that needs A's in science yet I am not very good so it is important that I revise and work hard at it. I am also running for head-girl so I must complete the tasks needed first. I hope that I can publish a few posts in the holiday to makeup for the fact that I haven't written in quite some time.

Lipstick: Makeup gallery All about the pout- Deep Red 17  The colour is a beautiful deep red which goes on very smoothly. I will be doing a review on it soon so keep your eyes peeled.

Lip-balm: Color Trend Blood Orange. This flavored lip-balm tastes gorgeous and leaves me with lovely smooth lips.

Nail product: Essence gel nail polish 64 island hopping. This is a beautiful colour and has a lovely finish.

Book: The fault in our stars. This is such a good book! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a good book.

Tips for strong nails!

Hello everyone!

Beautiful long nails that are strong and health are a dream for many but I have researched and compiled a list of the 4 major things to help you achieve that dream.

1.Moisturize daily- Nails need to be hydrated as most of the problem started when they aren't.

2.Limit professional manicures as they aren't good for your nails...at all.

3.Avoid acetone-based polish removers as they strip the nails and make them brittle.

4.Avoid rough nail files as they lead to cracks in the nail.

Makup gallery- Brown/black mascara review

Hello everybody!

My last review(EOS Pomegranate and raspberry) went really well! You all seem to love it and it is my most read article! So I decided that I would do another one.

Today I am reviewing poundland's: Make-up gallery,Never ending story

  95/100

Pros:
Cheap
Nice brush
Not clumpy
Perfect for an everyday look
Makes lashes long but not too long

Cons:
Can't use for big party lashes
Lighter mascara is still quite dark

Worth it: Yes! Definitely!
Would I buy again: Yes, I am positive that I will be buying this product again

Final comments: I really like the mascara for a really cute, everyday lashes, however, they don't really work as a set of party lashes. I will be buying this again as I love the cute open look it gives to my eyes and only £1 it is a really good bargain.
